Tougher On Drunk Drivers

COURT HOUSE - The - Cape May County Council on Alcoholism recently relocated its office to the County Health Department Building in the Crest Haven complex. Its telephone number is 465-2282. A new addition to the council staff is Lisa Shaw , who has been named administrative assistant. A resident of Cape May City, she is a graduate of Stockton State College, where she received a' bachelor's degree in social wort. She will attend the School for Alcoholism Studies for two weeks in June on a

scholarship subsidized by the council. The council points hut that a new and stricter drunkonN driving law becomes effective Oct. 5 this year, j THE LAW provides greater financial penalties than previously. Among these is a fee of MO after conviction to pay for evaluation and screening. License suspensions range from six months to a y ear for the first offense to 10 years for the third

offense
