homes. Named in honor of Dutch explorer Cornelius Mey, the town's namesake, the festival will include special events in the Rotary Park, the selection of a ‘Tulip-Queen’’ and a coloring contest for all ages.

WHO WILL BE THE 1984 TULIP QUEEN? Girls from the ages of eight to 12 are invited to submit applications to become Cape May's Tulip Queen and to reign over the third annual Tulip Festival April 28 and 29 Residents of the greater Cape May arCa south of the canal are eligible for the contest. Applications should include an essay of a minimum of 50 words on "Why I Want to be Tulip Queen" and a black-and-white picture _ of at least 3x5 Inches, which will be returned after the ’ contest. The entrant’s name, addfess, and telephone number should be on the back of both the essay and the photograph. Deadline for submission of entries to the contest is Friday. April 20. The Tulip Festival Committee of the Chamber of Commerce will judge the entries and notify the new Queen just before the Tulip Festival.
