Easter 4 Stroll Winners Told

CAPE MAY - Chilly weather didn't cool the spirits of hundreds of participants in the city's annual Victorian Easter Stroll, according to Shirley D. Stiles, chairperson. The Sunday event was sponsored by the Greater Cape May Chamber of Commerce.

Program was opened by Mayor Arthur Blomkvest. Greetings also came from the representatives of the chamber. Mall Merchants Association and Beach Boardwalk' Merchants Association. Gene Grossweiler, complete in Victorian cutaway suit and top hat, provided

Cape May director of community affairs. Chairman Stiles praised the help of Jerry In derweiss and Joe Estock of the city's Public Works Department. Betts Backs Recreation TUCKAHOE - George Betts, candidate for the Republican nomination for Upper Township Committee in the June 5 primary election, said he would use his turf grass sod experience to improve township athletic fields and recreation areas. In a statement released to the news media, Betts said he supports township recreation programs and. if elected, would "improve the quality of our fields and by doing so, save the township money on recreation over a period of years." Betts has been president of Tuckahoe Turf Farms i Inc. since 1979* and has worked there since 1964
