place, and Marine Bank on Lafayette Street at, Madison, third place. MANY OF THE merchants of Cape May will be participating in the festival by offering tulip and spring-related wares for sale. Lenore Marinaro of the Jewel Box Emporium on Washington Street Mall will offer specially imported Dutch ceramic candleholders and vases in ihe shape of tulips as well as tulip-shaped jewelry. The Zoo Company, Susan and Barry Tischler's shop in'the liberty Village Mall, will sell silk tulips and tulip-sloped candy along with their unique monkey puppets. Elizabeth von Schlichten, whose shop is Gingham and Calico Crafts in the Macomber Hotel on Beach Drive, will feature tulipshared potholders and other country style crafts she has made herself. Ernestine Ross Brown will be offering souvenir Dutch boy and girl ceramic figurines and Peter and Andrew Vernon and their S family have been busy making their popular wooden tulips on stakes for display in the garden for sale at the Tulip Festival. There will be many varieties of Dutch-related foods for sale, too. The Chamber of Commerce will be presenting Dutch hotdogs and sauerkraut and cold drinks for sale. ' 'Pennsylvania Dutch" funnel cakes will be sold by Carmella Conn. There will be tulip-decorated cupcakes and other baked goods for the benefit of the Franklin Street United Methodist Church. And Austin Love of Love's Fudge and Dane Wells have teamed up to present a new booth this year, a Dutch chocolate booth featuring a gourmet hot cocoa drink, imported Dutch chocolates, and a special new fudge created by Austin Love for the liilip Festival, festival goers need not go away hungry! OTHER SOUVENIRS for sale at the Tulip Festival will include imported Dutch Delft tiles and other ceramics, wooden shoes in a variety of sizes. Tulip Festival T-shirts, and bedding plants just right for the garden from the v greenhouse at the Cape
May County Vo-Tech grown by students under the supervision of Robert Greisbach. These sales items will benefit the Chamber of Commerce. Hie Chamber of Commerce is grateful to the City of Cape May for the assistance in setting up the Tulip Festival.
