Ml) ■ * Music starting at 10 a.m., provided by the Hoffnagle Band • * * Welcome by Mayor Arthur Blogikvest and Council * Greetings by Robert Mullock, president of the Greater Cape May Chamber of - Commerce * Coronation of. 1984 Tulip Queen by 1983 Tulip Queen, Anne Reagan - . * Music throughout the afternoon "by the Hoffnagle Band and a strolling violin player * Klompendansing, a traditional folk dance performed in wooden shoes by the Joanne Reagan School of Dance costumed in elaborate lace hats. , i- ' * Straat-wassen, a demonstration of the old \ custom of street washing sfifl observed in \ the Netherlands ^ . « Puppet Show 'The Boy Who Saved The Day" presented by the Jersey Cape Performing Arts Guild (will be repeated during afternoon) S * Art in the 'Park, a tulip-making project for young people spohsored by the Cape May County Art League. Children will be able to make tulipfe from stencils, paper cutouts, vegetable prints and tempra paints. * Tours of Cape May's tulip gardens by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts.. Trolley tours will start at the bandstand area between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. $3.50 for adults » Concert will be held between 2-4 p.m., presented by the LuLu Temple Shrine Band. t f '
Booths will offer ■ traditional Dutch hot dogs and sauerkraut as well as apple cider, popcorn and hot chocolate. Dutch items will also be on sale, ' from Delft pottgry and wooden shoes to potted tulips and bedding plants for the garden. Dutch windmill cookies and 300 animals with tulips will be sold by vendors. A working potter and tinsmith will also be on hand. * * * Restroom facilities will be available near the Bandstand.
