VFW HONOR — Herman Harmon of West Cape May has been chosen as member 'of the month by Peterson-Little Post 386. V eterans of Foreign Wars. Cape May. Harmon, who served in South Pacific during World War II. has been a member of the post since 1979. and serves as post adjutant. He and his 'wife. Ida. a member of the » auxiliary, have two children and six grandchildren. He is retired from the C.S. Postal Service.

Homemaker Aides Get N.J. Honor PRINCETON - Three aides from Cape May County will be honored at the annual meeting of the Home Care Council of New Jersey Monday. May 7. at the Hyatt Regency here. There are Mrs. Irene Kane. Mrs. Suzanne McDonald, and Mrs. MaryWhite. who will be honored for 15. 10, and 10 years of -- service respectively. Gov. Thomas H. Kean will receive the Outstanding Leadership in Home Care award. Attending will be ''Mrs. Anne Gerken, board member, and Mrs Ann Magee, executive director of the Visiting Homemaker Services in Cape May County. The county service, located in Rio Grande, provides health aides and personal services to ill patients in their homes The agency served 611 patients with 49,018 hours of service last year.

Student Honored SEA ISLE CITY - Louise Raffa. youngest daughter of Mayor Dominic C. Raffa And Mrs. Raffa, a student at Gwynedd Mercy College. Gwynedd Valley, Pa., has benn selected for Who's * Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. An Education major, she has been president of her class both freshman and sophomore year, this year she was a member of the Judicial Court of Student government. She has been a contributor to the Residents' Council and Student Union Boarfl activities as well as the Campus Ministry team.
