The Zoning Board of Adjustment of Middle Township will hold a meeting 7 p.m. May 10 at Municipal Hall. The Board of-Health will meet May 17 at the Hall, 7 p.m. Hie American Association of Retired Persons ( AARP Chapter 1 182, Court 1 House.) will meet Tuesday, May 8, at 1 :30 p.m, to elect new officers. This meeting will take place at Memorial ] Hall, The First United Methodist Church, on Church Street just off Rte. 9, Court House. Officers to be elected are president, . vice president, treasurer, secretary, and board of directors. The Disaster Assistance Center (DEC), located at the National Guard Armory, Crest JHaven Road and the Garden State Parkway, recently distributed provisions to the needy following the storm of March 29. Several agencies were responsible for the aid, including the Small Business Administration. Division of Labor and Industry, Food Stamps and the Red Cross. The Red Cross, since the aftermath of the flood, has donated, foodstuffs, clothing, shelter and ap- • pliances to local persons. Since the government declared Cape May County's storm a national disaster early last week the Crest Haven Armory became eligible to distribute federal grants to small and no income faimilies to be used for reconstruction. Shaping up are several aerobics classes taught by Sue Orlando. Rte 9, Court House. Just in time for beach season these classes run on Tuesday and Thursday evening for seven weeks. The beginner class is for anyone willing to try, as the warmups, exercies and limited aerobics (to music) are thoroughly explained. then followed with a cool down.
