Presidential Quilt Made

U COURT HOUSE - Lear7 ning about presidents / became an interesting and challenging subject for first graders in Mrs. Bette Evans' class at Middle Township Elementary School. I While studying each president, iron-on transfer squares were colored with magic markers by the

children. After the squares were completed and signed by them, their parents sewed the squares together with red yam to make a quilt. Along with other president-related materials, the quilt is being displayed in the entrance showcase of the school.

Party Held v Fdr Easter WILDWOOD - Mayor Earl B. Ostrander welcomed more than 600 children and adults who turned out for the wildwoods Recreation Departments 23rd Annual Easter Party at Fox Park April 21. All the children that entered the various races received some Easter candy with the two winners in each race receiving large Easter eggs. City Councilman Walter Cottman drew stubs and awarded 15 Easter baskets plus three bicycles. The bike winners were: Rebecca Vlastaridis of North Wildwood, Jim Simcox of wildwood, and Lisa Wean of Wildwood Crest.
