; AVALON - The Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Cape May County Counci! on Physical Fitness, will conduct an ex- ; ercise and aerobics benefit for Deborah Hospital. 11 a.m. -4 p.m. Saturday, May The event v^ill be staged at the Avalon Community Hall and will be open to males and females. There will be a registration fee or a list of sponsors and money pledged. A spectator fee will also go to the benefit. Prizes will be awarded Tor the most sponsors and other designated categories. Any business wishing to donate prizes may display products

Trip Slated To Gardens COURT HOUSE - The Middle Township Recreation Department offers a trip to Longwood Gardens for all area residents Thursday, May 24. the trip is open to all residents regardless of age and residency. Longwood Gardens is a botanical wonderland covering 350 acres of outdoor gardens and woodlands. In addition to the outdoor attractions, there are glassed conservatories housing 20 indoor gardens. cost will include transportation, admission and dinner on the return trip. For additional information and reservations, call Gregg Arnold at the Recreation Office at 465-3520.
