Our Readers Write Channel 5 Mourned To The Editor: #» ' 2 I am writing in regard to the local programming on Channel 5. I have called Group W on different occasions -^nd have never received satisfaction. All they say is thefy have to put the New Jersey stations on first. If this is true, how come Atlantic County gets? the good programs that are listed in the T V. Guide while fe get all the junk? I mean, who really cares for all those number?? that are constantly running across the screen all day kmg? I HAVE THE CABLE box that costs over $30.a month plus what it costs for just using the cable and U o televisions. 1 end up paying $41.10 monthly and even with all this. Channel 5 (New York) usually has better programs, especially on the weekend. They said thev did a survey and people wanted, it removed. I don't believe this for a minute. Vou can't tell me people would want all their old sitcoms and the go$d movies taken off to put all this junk on. | Channels 8 and 11 have a lot of junk on them, can't they use one of them instead? I'm sure there have to be other people frustra ted by the lousy deal we received in Cape May County. DOROTHY LINES Villas I *
