CAPE MAY - The city was w^entlv awarded a matching-grant of 3.760 from the state Division of Travel and Tourism. The ftrst Annual Cape Island Environmental. Festival May 19 and 20 was the project approved. This marks the second consecutive year Cape Mayhas received a state tourism grant. Last year the $5,000 received was used to offset the extensive expense of staging the first Annual Seafood Festival Both events are sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape Mav and the city. The Women's Communi-

ty Gub of Greater Cape May. will coordinate a twoday flower show in Convention Hall during this Cape Island Festival. Other activities include the dedication of a nature trail, the dedication of the Chamber of Commerce garden, arTbutdoor band concert, trolley tours, tours of the Wetlands Institute, environmental exhibits in Convention Hall and a 24-bour bird-aThon sponsored "by the Audubon Society and the Cape May Bird obser ratory.
