The Stone Harbor Republican Club will be hosting a Meet the Candidates night at the Fire Hall Monday. June 4. at 7:30 p.m. and the S.H. voting public is invited to attend. The club feels that since there will be four candidates running for borough council this year everyone should have the opportunity to make an informed decision Names to appear on the ballot were drawn in the following order: William Cathcart, Scott Daniels, Eric Arenberg and Robert Boyer They will be speaking in the same order. Each candidate will make a fiveminute opening statement followed by 10 minutes in which to field questions from the audience. There will be no debate among . candidates. After the question and answer period has concluded. each office seeker will be given two minutes for a summation. Before you vote the next day you should really take the time to know for whom you are voting and why. We are hoping to see a big turnout at this most informative meeting. Avalon's Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Miss Avalon Cruise Saturday, June 2, 6 to 8 p.m The cruise will depart from the Avalon Sport Fishing Marina, 13th and Ocean Drive, promptly at 6. so try to be a little early Refreshments including wine and beer will be served aboard. .Almost all merchants will have tickets i available — certainly Dan Keen will have them at his Pharmacy at 2809 Dune Dr \ Dan is Prexy of the C of C You can also make ad- i vance reservations by call- f ing Miriam Kauterman at 967-3001 DON'T FORGET to take I advantage of resident's
