Guess who's coming to TV? None other than the two very well-known Cape Mayites Mrs. Helen Dickerson and her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Burton, very famous chefs at the Cbalfonte Hotel. They'll be on the Phil Donohue Show Tuesday, June, 5, at 9 a.m. preparing some of their delicious "soul food" — chittlings, pigs' feet, etc. etc. Don't forget to mark your calendar so that . you do not miss this treat. I told Dot Burton that she's going to have to be prepared 0) give the public autographs of both her and her Mother. ••• McGlade's Mansion House, at the corner of Broadway and SunsetBoulevard, has a beautiful new front as well as lots of renovations inside too. with all the family preparing the precious family recipes that are so famous. The friendly atmosphere is a refreshing attribute. Food includes some seafood, and would you believe it, outstanding Italian dishes ; L SOMETHING NEWS been added to the natural food shop, 'Our Daily Bread", on the Washington Street Mall next to Barry Clothes. Not only do they have a great assortment of vitamins besides the natural food products, but you can now have sandwiches all natural. The novelty has caught on too .... so many are trying the delicious combinations. All are geared to the betterment of your - health and at the saijfettme so tasty. day throughout the summer in the Parish Hall of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Ocean Street. They promise the usual good prizes and delicious food. She's Rita McTague of the Victorian Towers, always on hand to help others. And her smile gives you a lift too! Best cookies in town just have to be those baked by Teresa Banscher of Cape May. Don't plan on just eating one, it can't be done Sister-in-law Betty Mac Millan is the jelly-roll expert. What a way to cut calories; NOW LP AND around and her usual self is Marie Roehrenbeck of quaint Page Street. She had a serious bout with illness and all are so pleased with her recovery. Cape May Police are still the greatest. Their help is always courteous and so quick. I'm a big city gal and know what it means to have to wait for police service. Not so here in Cape May. She always puts in a personal touch Kindness is contagious Hope it spreads IN MEMORIAM: Rev M.A. Crine; monsignor, pastor . ordained 1936 and retired 1980 Prior to his retirement, he served as dean of priests in Cape May County for 24 years. From 1936 to 1944 he was associate pastor at St. Mary's Cathedral in Trenton, St Augustine's Church in Ocean City St. Lawrence Parish in Lindenwold and = Holy Name Parish in Camden In 1944 Msgr Crine was named pastor of St. Matthew's Church in National Park, N.J He then served as pastor of St. Nicholas parish in Egg Harbor He later served as pastor of Sacred Heart Parish. Mt Ephraim Parish and St Anne's Parish in Wildwood for 17 years. His last parish was at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Cape May In 1957 he was named a Domestic Prelate of Honor with th? title of monsignor In addition to his pastoral duties. Msgr Crine served in many capacities at the diocesan level such as priest, consulor and vicar for clergy in Atlantic and Cape May counties. He was also chaplain for the Monsignor Moroney General Assembly, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, in Wildwood Monsignor C/ine will be sadly missed and it's with much love and admiration that so many of us are offer ing our prayers.
