'Seascape' Last Play '■ Of Season CAPE MAY - Fittingly enough, creatures from the sea are in the spotlight as the Jensey Cape Performing Aftk Guild winds up its fifth ana final production of the 1983-84 season. The play is Seascape, by Edward Albee. The play was critically acclaimed in its Broadway production, which starred Deborah Kerr, Barry Nelson, and Frank Langella. It applies eloquence, wit and warmth to an examination of the meaning and significance of life. On a deserted stretch of beach, a middle-aged couple, relaxing after a picnic lunch, talk of home, family, and their life together. Suddenly, they are joined by the sea creatures — lizards who have decided to leave the ocean depths. INITIAL FEAR and suspicion of each other are replaced by curiosity. Before .long, the humans and the' lizards ( who speak admirable English) are engaged in a revealing dialogue. Faye Senior, last seen as Catherine in Miss Reardon Drinks a Little, plays Nancy and Roy Luetzow portrays her husband Charlie. The lizards, Leslie and Sarah, are played by Phil Pizzi and Barbara Ratigan Seascape will be performed by the Sandpiper Players at the city hall auditorium at 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
