'New Life, New Birth, New Spirit' WILDWOOD - "New Life, New Birth, New Spirit" will be the theme as the people of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Atlantic and Poplar avenues, celebrate the Day of Pentecost on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. The worship celebration will include a children's sermon of banner-making, joyous music and the celebration of the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. A fellowship hour after the worship will be in the fellowship hall. Visitors are welcome to join in worship and fellowship. The summer schedule begins June 23-34 with Saturday evening Holy Communion celebrated frequently from 5 p.m. and Sunday morning Holy Communion celebrated weekly at 9 a.m. Services of the Word of Healing are offered every first and third Thursday at 9 a.m. for those suffering from brokenness in body and soul. New Series On Parables NORTH WILDWOOD - Dr. Alvin L. Baker, pastor of Central Bible Church, 18th and Central Avenues, will begin a new series on the parables of Christ at the 10:45 a.m. service Sunday, His first message is "Parable of the Soil", based on Matt. 13:1-23. "Light of the World" is the 7 p.m. message and is based on Matthew 5:14-16. At 9:45 a.m. Elder George Forbes will teach the Book of Revelation to the Adult Sunday School Class. There are classes for all ages. Prayer meeting and Bible study are 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Dr. Baker is teaching a series on the Life of David.

Bible School Joint Effort COURT HOUSE - The First Baptist Church and the First Methodist Church will hold a joint Vacation Bible School June 25 to 29, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Anyone age 4 through 8th Grade is invited to attend. The theme of this year's Vacation Bible School is "Jesus Is My Answer." Each morning there will be crafts, singing, bible stories, and refreshments. Children 4 years old through Second Grade will attend classes at the Methodist Church and students from Third through eighth Grade will attend classes at the Baptist Church. Both churches are on Main Street. There is no registration fee for the school, and everyone is welcome. People may pre-register by calling 465-5511 or 465-7087.
