Sw" ' STAFF ADDITION — Mercedes Grajales--Zweigle, M.D., has been added to the Emergency Department staff at Bnrdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Court House. Dr. Zweigle received her Doctor of Medicine and Surgery diploma from the national Autonomous University of Mexico. She served her internship and residency in general surgery at Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia, and is completing a fellowship in surgical research there.

Foley, president and chief executive officer of Livingston National Bank, have announced that their respective boards of directors have approved the pur_^chase of the Livingston NatTSnal Bank by The First Jersey National Bank. Utpder the terms of the agreement approval by the boards, shareholders of Livingston would receive in exchange for each of their 178,778 shares. 4.34 shares of First Jersey National Corporation common stock, having an approximate aggregate value of $110 per share of Livingston as of the offering date. •THIS ACQUISITION strengthens First Jersey's capital position and enables us to continue with our expansion plans in the

Turner Elected By CPAs WILDWOOD CREST - Local resident Leon H. Turner, CPA, has been elected president of the 8,200-member New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) for a one-year term beginning June 1. "I am honored to be asked by my peers to serve as their spokesman for the coming year," said Turner about his presidency. "My challenge during this period," he continued, "will be to encourage the maintenace of high standards of professionalism by CRAs and to encourage the passage of mandatory continuing professional education in our state." Turner, president of Turner, Stauffer & Co., P.A., Wildwood, joined the Society in 1959 and is currently serving as a trustee of the New Jersey-CPA-PolitSical Action Committee. PREVIOUSLY. HE held the offices of vice president and trustee of the society and president of its Atlantic /Cape May Chapter. In addition. Turner is serving as a council member of the American Institute of CPAs. Active in his community, Mr. Turner serves as director of Marine National Bank, Wildwood, and is a member of the Wildwood Kiwanis Club. He is also serving as director of Horizon Bancorp, Morris town. Turner received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania, and a Master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan's Graduate School of Business Administration. Turner and his wife, the former Lola Rubins of North Wildwood, have three children: Anne, Alan and Joan.
