^ COURT HOUSE - The American Lung Association — the Christmas Seal People — and MCE Medical will conduct a conference on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), 7:30 this evening in the County Library. The conference is designI ed to educate and assist families and professionals I about SIDS. The public is H| invited to attend and there W is no registration fee. However, pre-registration V is required and can be arranged by calling the Lung Association's office in Egg k Harbor City (965-5500). ? In addition, the (participants will gain a bfetter understanding of current ■y trends and treatment for

babies at risk for SIDS. Further, resource and referral will be provided for interested participants. In other counties where this program has been presented, the needs of families have been met

through the formation of support groups, financial and emotional support through service groups and clergy, and in general an i m proved level of awareness of SIDS and its related problems.

In Honor Society CAMDEN - David Fothergill-Quinlan, an i undergraduate at Rutgers ,v University College in < Camden, has been elected j to membership in the GamI ma Xi chapter of Alpha Lambda Sigma national honor society. Evanson, daughter of Catherine Evanson of 104 Kechemeche St., has graduated from the U.S. Air Force aircraft maintenance course at Sheppard Air Force Base. Texas. Evanson is scheduled to serve with the 15th Tactical Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base, Va. She is a 1983 graduate of Lower Cape May' Regional High School, Erma.
