Boro Has Water Restrictors

AVALON — There is not a water shortage in Avalon, officials say. However, if every homeowner would install water restrictors on faucets the amount of water flowing into the usually overworked sewer system would be reduced considerably. . The Atlantic Electric Co., in an independent test found that the use of restrictors in showers results in *H60.06 percent reduction 4n toe electriety used to heat pot water. There is not noticeable difference in the/ water flow

when the restrictor is used and the pressure is the same or greater. Councilman James Busha announced that the Borough has a quantity of these restrictors on hand and residents may acquire them at theo—Llgrough Clerk's office, Monttay^ through Friday during normal working hours. "We would appreciate it if everyone woulp cooperate and take advantage of this offer, which is of no expense to the property owner and could be a saving to the borough," Busha said.
