Soccer Camp Plan Cancelled by Boro

AVALON - The Pat, OMalley Soccer Camps which were to be held in July have been cancelled due to lack of interest. The camp will be held in Court House and interested Avalon boys and girls may sign up there To do so. call Craig Arnold 465-3520. The Les Burke Basketball Clinic is still scheduled for boys 9 to 18 from Aug. 6 to 10 and for girls between Aug. 13 and 17 from noon until 3 p.m. THESE AND the Aerobic J lancing classes are all^oflered in conunction with the Avalon Recre^tjon Pepartment's Summer recreation schedule. CAPE MAY — Sponsored by the city, Star Soccer Academy, formerly Fever Soccer Camps, will conduct its fourth consecutive day soccer camp at Lower Cape May Regional High School. Route 9, Erma, Juiy 9-13.

■Tie academy will include five days of instruction. Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. mr 6 to 17-year-old coeds. VThe soccer academy is under the direction of U.S.S.F. "A" license and staff coach Skip Roderick and captaion of the Baltimore Blast, Dave MacWilliams. Skip, a former professional soccer player in the A.S.L., N.A.S.L. and M.I.S.L., is currently the head soccer coach at Elizabethtown College. IN ADDITION tfLthe in struction, the trillion will include a soccer ball, soccer jerseyj^xamper insurance/ special camp awards/ soccer films, camp costers, Gatorgum. U.S.S.F. soccer patch, the Coca-Cola cup and Parents' night. As an added bonus all campers will be eligible for a chance at a free trip to Ireland.
