$13,000 appropriation for a traffic study, a key step toward a Dune Drive •business district revitalization plan. They also voted to ask the borough to involve the chamber in its cohsideration of reenacting a mer cantile tax that expired in 1969. Plans were made for a Softball game on July 15 and for Wings n' Water Festival activities Sept. 15-16. The chamber does not meet 'during the summer.

Addition To Staff At BTMH COURT HOUSE - Hemancini G Mehta, M.D., has joined the staff of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Dr. Mehta received her medical traiffing at B.J. Medical College/Gujaret University in Ahmedabad, India. Her residency was served at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. N.Y. Dr. Mehta took her fellowship in anesthesiology at Queens General Hospital, New York, N.Y. Her experience also includes five years of active staff membership at Atlantic City Medical Center. Dr. Mehta s professional memberships include the New Jersey Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. ) Four Picked For Rotary Conference ERMA — Lower Cape May Regional High School juniors Carl Knudsen, Laureen Weeden, Richard Bew, and Bridget Dollinger have been selected to attend the fifth Rotary Youth Leadership Conference at Stockton State College June 24 through 29. The participants will be challenged to accept the responsibilities of leadership stemming from involvement with professionals in group discussions. guest speaker workshops, career guidance seminars, group sport clinics, band, and chortis. Selection is based on nominations from high school personnel who observe leadership qualities in their students. Approximately 12 5 students from South Jersey will participate in the program this summer. Britton 's Move Shop NORTH WILDWOOD - After 18 years in Stone Harbor, Britton's Bakery opened in a new location at 21st and New Jersey avenues last weekend. Mayor Anthony Catanoso cut a ribbon to open the new shop, which features a glass-enclosed baking area so customers can see things being made. Baker Ray Britton and his wife. Marie, operate the shop which gained fame last year when apple fritters ended up in the White House via Faith Ryan Whittlesey. Haverford. Pa., White House aide President Redgan wrote the Brittons to compliment them Britton was a baking instructor in the Air Force. The shop's specialties include the apple fritters cinnamon buns, butter danish. cheese cake and French pastries In Oklahoma Horse Show TULSA. OK. - Three young people with Cape May County connections , will be competing at the 13th Annual American Junior Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show and Convention here Aug 4-11. They are Karen Kapp. 18. daughter of Mr and Mrs. Kenneth E Kapp of Court House, who is a freshman at Oklahoma State University. Chuck Thompson. 15. and Tracy Thompson. 13, son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thompson, formerly of Rio Grande. Both are students in Yukon. Ok Karen will be competing' in the Hunter Hack Class Chuck will compete in the Working Cowhorse Class, and Tracy in the Hunter Hack Class.
