COURT HOUSE - County Engineer Neil O. Clarke has announced that after yesterday, it will not be possible for traffic to travel from the Court House area directly to the Burleigh Dias Creek Road by way of the Shunpike P | The lower end of the Shunpike has been .closed i off just south of Oyster Road. Southbound traffic .on the Shunpike from the
Court House area will bp required to turn left onto Oyster Road and travel to Route 9. I This measure was taken to prevent anticipated heavy truck traffic to the Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority's sold waste I transfer facility on the southerly portion of the Shunpike from travelling • through the residential area located on the northerly portion of the I Shunpike. Dems Elect Middle Grad Joseph Giannattasio was elected treasurer by the members of the Democratic municipal committee in the City of Orange during their annual reorganization meeting. Giannattasio. a graduate of Middle Township High School, is the director of the Physician Placement System, a division of.PW .Communications Inc.. an international medical publishing and communications company. In May Giannattasio was re-elected to a fourth term as county committeeman and was successful in his bid for a second term as West Ward Chairman in Orange. Giannattasio also is a board trustee for The Record Ambulance Service. the nation's oldest private ambulance service in operation.
