Soccer Camp Opens July 9
ERMA j,— Star Soccer Academy will conduct soccer camp at Lower Cape May Regional High School off Route 9 for six to 17-year-olds from 9 a.m. to Boro Soccer Underway STONE HARBOR - Recreation soccer league registration was held Friday. June 29. and yesterday on the field on 82nd Street. Boys and girls between 8 and 13 will be separated into four squads. Each team plays a 12-game schedule every Monday. Wednesday, and Friday evening beginning Friday. All players receive ample time to display their skills dur- . ing each game. Instructional clinics are held Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9 for boys and girls 10 years of age and under. For further information. call the Stone Harbor Recreation Department at 368-1210.

Record Shark Catch?
CAPE MAY - A poten tial new world record on 16-lb. test line has been submitted to the International Game Fish Association in Miami. Fla. by a Greensburg. Pa. angler for a 242-lb. Tiber Shark. Herbert Katner Jr. was fishing east of the Triple Wrecks out of Cape May with Capt. Walt Hendee of Stone Harbor on Hendee's charter boat Lucky Strike. The possible world record fish was caught ' on cut mackerel bait from a drifting boat. Hendee said Ratner had chartered purposely to fish for a 16-lb. class world record for makos and had hooked several which would have set or come close to the 16-lb class record One which jumped three times was estimated at over 200 lb by Hendee SHARK FISHING is the newest, fastest growing game fishery along the East Coast as more and more anglers participate in the sport. Hendee is a veteran shark fisherman who began chartering last year He specializes in ocean shark fishing The day following the world record catch.
