State VFW Award for PR Officer CAPE MAY - Paul F. Parrinello. public relations officer of Peterson-Little Post 386, won the first annual VFW State of New Jersey publicity award for 1983-84 at the state convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars last month in Wiidwood. His 'member of the month'' writeups and the Herald and Lantern played a big part in his winning the award. Parrinello declared. A resident of the county since 1925. Parrinello lives in Villas with his wife. Ruth. They have two daughters. Linda Koch and Debbie Parrinello, He has run his barber shop in Cape May for the past 29 years

Monday followed by a regular meeting then at 8 p.m. Those meetings will Infield July lti. July 30. Aug 20. Sept. 5. Sept. 17. Oct. 1. Oct. 15. Nov. 5. Nov. Hi. Nov. 19. Dec 3 and Dec. 17 The township Incinerator Authority and Board ot Health have been meeting on Mondays. They may continue to do so hut. at last week's council work ses'sion. CHIEF KEVIN IIART of the Lower Township Rescue Squad reports thai he and Tom Sawyer, director of the Wiidwood Crest "Ambulance Corps, have reached an agreement on emergency coverage lor ' Diamond Beach, the township shorefront south of the Crest. The corps will continue to answer ambulance calls Irom Diamond Beach until Jan. 1. Hart said, while the squad prepares to pick up the slack. The corps has been handling Diamond Beach emergency calls because of the distance to the shorefront from the s^q u a d ' s Mainland headquarters NEXT MONTH, the squad will launch a lund 11 drive to help pay for threenew ambulances expected this summer: it's goal is $30,000. Hart said. Only 1.854 of 11.500 requests for donations that the squad mailed during its Mary-h fund drive were returned. Just $11,000 was collected despite the $36,000 goal. TOWNSHIP COUNCIL is considering th£ resque squad's request for a $25,000 emergency ap propriation.
