Boro Celebrates July ' Halloween '

AVALON — It rained on their parade, but scores df Avalon youngsters still turned out in costume at The Avalon Community Hall. The Avalon Recreation Department sponsored a Halloween in July parade which was to have taken place on the boardwalk but was forced inside by inclement weather.

The costumes were of all sizes, shapes and kinds I Some who were here on' vacation had to improvise with what was around the house. A good time was had by spectators and costumed youngsters alike Flash bulbs popped all over as moms, dads and grandparents took pictures of their offspring.
