2 Guided Walks On Saturday j
STONE HARBOR - Stone Harbor beachcombers will have to make a tough choice Satur day morning, between guided walks with naturalists to study shells or seashore plants. Both walks are produced by the Wetlands Institute and museum and require a donation for participation. At 9 a.m. a Seashore Plants Safari will begin in j the parking lot at 122nd Street and the beach on the south end of Stone Harbor. Led by Gil Cavileer, local birder and naturalist, the j walk wander among the seaside dunes where plant, life begins at the edge of j the sandy beach. CAVILEER WAS coteacher of a wild-flowers class at the institute this spring. The trip may last until noon, depending on group interest# Beginning at 9:30 a.m., marine biologist Jane Boraczek will lead interested people along the seashore to search for flotsam and jetsam, and identify the shells or othertreasures washed from the sea. The guided walk will end within two hours. In case of rain, the trip will be rescheduled for the same time Sunday. For further information, contact the Wetlands Institute at 368-1211. The institute and museum are open daily from 10 to 4, Tuesdays through Saturdays. There is no admis- M sion fee. 3 Fair Slated OCEAN CITY - The 11th anrfuai fair will be held by the Wesley Homestead, 805 E. Eighth St., 9:30 a.m. 3 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be served II a.m. - 2 p.m.. and a wide variety of articles will be on sale.
