SW ALSTON - An early summer heat wave couldn't stop the family, friends, and staff at the Cape May Care Center from having a super time at the Family Day activities, i The day started off with a pet show The pets paraded and purred around the residents' to show off their talents. Prize winning pets came away w-jth ribbons for cutest pet. most unusual pet. best behaved pet. and the pet that does the most tricks. The other pets received pins for braving the heat After the pet show came the entertainment The Showbiz Kids delighted the audience with various songs, dances, and other talents. The final and perhaps most enjoyed, event of the day was the barbecue, with soda, potato salad, baked beans, hot dogs, ham burgers, and watermelon
