MUA employment contracts, including one with former state Sen. James S. Cafiero, its solicitor, were continued until February, f the end of the MUA's year. Except for Nov. 6, the authority will meet at 8 p.m. on first and third Tuesdays in the conference room of Township Hall, 2600 Bayshore Road, Villas. Nov. 6 is Election Day so the authority will meet Nov. 7. The former township committee appointed its three members (present Mayor Robert Fothergill, former Mayor Peggie Bieberbach and former township Committeeman Thomas Clydesdale) to the five-member authority soon after it was formed in January along with Walks Dilks of Erma, an owner of Shawcrest Construction Co., and Patricia Bowman of South Cape May, wife of Villas builder Jack Bowman. Bieberbach resigned in mid-March. Bowman replaced her as chairman while Jim James, a selfemployed businessman from the Sunset Beach area, was nominated then to fill the vacancy.
