h '84 Baby Parade Is Aug. 3

' — >CAPE MAY — The city's 5Jptd Annual Baby Parade will march off at 11 a m Friday. Aug 3 Participants will include Miss Cape May County, the 1984 Queen Maysea, who will be chosen shortly, and her court aboard the Cape May float. Cape May's 1983 Queen Maysea Dawn Marie Mason, the MidAtlantic Center trolley, the Oak ly n Marching Mavericks, the Doctors of Rhythm and juggler A1 Zacharka. Children 12 years and under may enter one of six divisions with an opportunity to earn first, second, or third place in each of the following categories: Pretty Baby. Decorated Baby Carriage, Mini Floats, Comic Dress, Fancy Dress and Decorated on Wheels JUDGES FOR this year's parade will again be Mrs. Gladys Mendo, Mrs. Debbie Dodson, John Veldhoven and Arthur 1 "Bud" Cohen, who doubles as the Master of Ceremonies. Liet. Cariyle Dennis will again serve as the grand marshal of the process ioni All participants will receive ribbons at Convention Hall following the 1 parade Those interested in participating in the parade should contact the Depart ment of Civic Affairs immediately at 884-8411, ext. 20 or 27 The raindate is Saturday. Aug 4. at 11 a.m.

CAPE MAY — Concerts by Candlelight will return / to the Chalfonte Hotel for another season, opening tomorrow. July 26. with an appeal a nee by members of the Olde City Wind Ensemble The concerts begin at 8:30 p.m., and tickets may be purchased for the con-' certs alone or a combination of dinner and concert THE REMAINDER of the schedule follows: August 2, Bach Aria Consort of Philadelphia. Baroque trumpet, harpsichord, voice; Aug. 9, Quiet Riot, mime and music; Aug. 16, Edward Schultz/Philip Covelli, flute and classical guitar; Aug. 23.
