Christmas Promo \ 'Deadline' Nears

1 CAPE MAY - Would anyone believe a Christmas deadline of July 31? That's not for early shopping. It's for churches, community service groups, arts, environmental, and business groups planning activities in the city for

November and December Details of such activities should be submitted to Dane and Joan Wells. 102 Ocean St . , by the end of this month so that they may be included in the publicity and calendar that the Greater Cape May Chamber of Commerce will distribute. / "Gingerbread Cape May Christmas" will be the theme of the promotion this year, according to the coor dinators, the Wells. Kicking off the season will be a display of elaborate gingerbread houses and a demohstration by the Gingerbread Lady, Patti Hudson of Lancaster, Pa. The display will be held Satuday and Sunday, Nov 3 and 4, and Mrs. Hudson will give a demonstration lecture Sunday afternoon. Nov. 4, to benefit the chamber's Christmas activities.
