'Access To God'

NORTH CAPE MAY - "Access To God" is the theme of the 10:50 a.m. worship service of the Covenant Bible Church, Fishing Creek Road, according to the, pastor, Dr. George Fincke. The service with be broadcast over WCMC, 1230 AM At the 7 p.m. service, the associate pastor, Rev. Contentment". The service wilF be carried over WSJL-FM, 102 FM. Each Sunday morning at 9:45, a family Bible school is held, with classes for each age group. For free transportation, call Bob at 886-1354.

' Parables' Theme of Sessions

SEA ISLE CITY - "The Parables will be the theme for the 1984 Vacation Bible School at the United Methodist Church here. The school begins Monday, Aug. 6, and continues through Friday, Aug. 11. There will be classes for children ages 4-12. Mrs. Becky Taylor and Mrs. Joanna Nichols will lead the school. Bible stories, crafts, Bible learning, recreation, and refreshments are part o^each day's schedule. For Jdrther information call 263-3353.

Old Brick Marking •> \ 270th Anniversary

COLD SPRING - Plans have been completed by the session and rally day committee of the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church for the annual Rally Day Observance to be held 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12. The celebration this year wiii be the 77th such observance and the 270th Anniversary of the founding of the historic church. There has been no interruption of service since that early date.

THE GUEST speaker this year will be Dr. J. Scottie Griffin, senior fninister of the First Presbyterian Church in Germantown, Pa., a well known and dynamic speaker Because of the special significance of this anniversary, marking 270 years of continuous service at the Cold Spring Church, the Rally Day Committee issues a cordial invitation to all members and friends of the congregation, descendants of old county families, summer residents and visitors in the area to share in the traditional service and worship at "Old Brick" on this 77th Rally Day.

St. Mary's Guest Set

STONE HARBOR - Guest preacher at the 10 a.m. Eucharist Sunday, Aug. 12, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church will be the Rev. Dr. W. Hamilton Aulenbach, former rector of Christ Church and St. Michael's in Philadelphia. The Episcopal Church Women will sponsor their annual sidewalk sale 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. . 25. Church School has been discontinued for the summer and will be resumed in late September. Bible School" STONE HARBOR - The school registration for Vacation Bible School has begun at Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church. Will be held 9 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Aug, 13-17 at the Stone Harbor Elementary School. The theme is "Share the Goods News." Teachers, helpers, cookie bakers and those who can make financial contributions are still needed. Children age 3 through grade 6 may be registered by calling the church office at 368-3031 Pastor Glenn Schoenberger's sermon for Sunday is entitled "Come, Learn from Me!" The Service of the Word is at 9:30 a.m. The liturgical service is at 11 a.m. Sunday Church School is at 9:30. Children attend the 9:30 service and proceed to the school after a children's message.
