If you saw two Middle Township school buses driving through town last week, it was not to indicate the return of pencils and books. Not yet. Youngsters from the Recreation Department playground and camps went to Lake Nummy in Belleplain. The 25-cent swim is offered every Wednesday, but lately has been pre-empted by rain and the Fourth of July. So the kids were really kicking to swim this trip. Armed with towels and trunks, these energetic youngsters dove, jumped and doggy-paddled until 3 in the afternoon when, sad-

the children at Elementary 1 Day Camp are too young to shave, they were doing a pretty close imiation last week with their balloon and shaving cream contest. C Other recent events were •aco making, Let's Make a DCal, where the prizes not quite the Bob Barker variety, and makings sundaes. Events for which winners were awarded first, second and third place Middle Township ribbons were an obstacle course with hurdles, swing contest and spelling bee. ©
