Lobster Bake Plus "A Nature Concert
STONE HARBOR - A lobster bake picnic and reception featuring the environmental music of Earthsong, a husband-wife team from the Pine Barrens, will be held 6:30 p.m. next Wednesday, AugA8, at
the Wetlands Institute. The event, planned as a benefit for the institute, requires reservations by noon Aug. 7. The mid-week dinner includes a picnic style 1G lb. lobster served with hot butter and lemon, clam chowder, corn on the cob, steamed clams, rolls and bieduitru Lidiiis, i uits ciiiu
libations: A donation of $1 7 . 50 per person is suggested. Earthsong, which will perform a children's show earlier that day at the institute, will present a musical concert and nature singalong in the evening. DAVE AND Sarah McNeill Orleans, who live in Browns Mills, are Earthsong and sing about the earth, our relation to it and our use of natural resources. He is a park naturalist and director of the Camden Cctonty Environmental Studies. He is also an accomplished guitarist, singer and songwriter. She is an environmental educator with the Conservation Environmental - Study Center in the Pine Barrens, and sings, plays dulcimer and autoharp. The activity is one of many available through the institute's public education program. The institute. a nonprofit private organization, offers an observation tower, Wetlandia museum, nature bookstore and salt marsh trail open daily from Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Twilight Tour SWAINTON — A special • twilight tour entitled "Making a living at the New Jersey Shore in Colonial Times" will be held 6:30 p.m today at Leam- ; ing's Run Gardens and Colonial Farm.
