STONE HARBOR - Boys basketball action resumed last week with the Knights defeating the Wolf Pack by a score of 52 to 35. Although the Wolf Pack lost by a large margin, Ste#b Gillian managed to contribute 24 points to the cause Chris Raimando of the Knights caged 18 points; while Howard DeRias and Tom Wolf hopped 12 points each. The night proved to be a long one. After a 20-minute delay the 8 o-clock game was cancelled due to rain. But having strong faith that the storm Would blow over, the League Director. Thomas Martin, decided to weather the cloud-burst. AS LUCK would have it. the rain stopped. Immediately, the Recreation Staff went to work on drying the courts, which were ready for the S o'clock game. The Spartans and Bruins game wa a squeaker The Spartans pulled out the victory by a score of 40 to 37. High scorer Dave Smith, with 24 points, sank the basket that decided the game Leading the charge for the Bruins were Jeff George and Sean Flannery with 10 points each. COURT HOUSE - The Cape May County 4-H is Still taking applications for the annual 4-H Camp, which will be held Aug 13-18. Local campers will be joining with Monmouth County 4-Hers at Lindley G. Cook 4-H Camp, in Stokes St a-fe Park. Branclwille. The camp is for children 9 to 13. and is not restricted to 4-H members.
