, Tricycle Rate Set AVALON, N.J. - The Recreation Department has scheduled a tricycle race for children age 6 and under for 10 am. Aug. 18 with a rain date of Aug. 19 at 1 pm. The races will be in age groups of 2 and under. 3, 4, 5, and 6. The vehicle categories will be Big Wheels, tricycles, fourwheelers and training wheels. For information and to enter contact the Recreation Department at 967-3066. The Antique Show scheduled for Community Hall Aug. 18 has been cancelled.
Students Attend Youth Conference
COURT HOUSE - Eight area high school students from the Cape May County Red Cross recently attend ed the organization's annual Youth Leadership Development Center at Ursinus College, Collegeville. in leadership skills, communication. assertiveness. first aid. and CPR. As young leaders, these students plan to further involve themselves in community service through Red Cross projects. Scholarships for the students' tuition were provided by Delta Nu Chapter of Beta. Sigma Phi. the MidJersey Cape Rotary Club. PEO Stet^rhood, the Cape May County Branch of American Association of University Women, the Cape May County Medical Society, Utsch's Boat Sales, the Cape May County Medical Society Auxiliary. the Colony Club. Wildwood Crest Ambulance Corps, and the I Wildwood Knights of | Columbus.
