Today we will discuss plant allergies in our ongoing series on allergy Piant allergies for our purposes will fall into two categor ies— air-borne allergic responses and contact-re-lated sensitivity. "Aeroallergens" are par tides carried by the air which cause allergic reactions in the skin, lungs and/or the eyes. Such forms of allergy can be induced not only through the pollen of plants but also from bird feathers, mold, flour, and even clouds of insects.
