CAPE MAY — New officers of the New Jersey Travel and Resort Association pledged to expand the organizations efforts in legislative and educational areas at a meeting recently at Carroll's Caravelle Inn. Tn Manahawkin Mark Soifer. association president, noted that the group has been successful in lobbying for a increase in the tourism budget and s has prompted hospitabilitv throughout the state |n re cent years. The association praised the efforts of Victoria Schmidt, Director of Tourism, for the jclose working relationship she has forged wiotj th^ association and her sueeesis in expanding the tourism^ budget ""Til \.\KS TO the work of Governor Keane and Mrs Schmidt, promotional funds have expanded
