Richard S. Beck, 26, of Ocean City, Aug. 4. Born in Millville, he had lived here for one year. He was a member of St. John Bosco Church, Millville. Addie K. Boyce. 91, of Ocean City, Aug. 3. Born in Smyrna. Del., she formerly lived in Media, Pa., and made her home here for the last 37 years. She was a retired guest house operator and a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church. Elizabeth Buchanan, 81, of North Cape May, July 31. School nurse for the Dennis Township school system until her retirement in 1978, she was a member of the Retired Educators Association, the School Nurses Association and the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Anthony Cerra, 77, of North Wildwood, Aug. 3. A former truck driver, he was a member of the Artisians of Philadelphia and St. John's Baptist Church of that city. He moved here seven years ago. Edgar Y. Cors^Bsi, of Ocean View, AugS^l. He was a retired civil engineer and headed construction for the Mew Jersey Depart-

ment of Transportation. He also was the district engineer on the construction of the Garden State Parkway. Charles L. Fulforth, 77, of Sea Isle City, Aug. 5. Formerly of Germantown, Pa., he retired to this area 25 years ago. He was a candy broker and was employed with Kraft Foods of Philadelphia and Baltimore for more than 50 years. Waldo Roy Gray, 96, of Cape May Court House, July 30. An area resident for 32 years, he was a registered machinist, employed by the U.S. government at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Harry Hankin. 85, of WildWood Crest, July. 29. Formerly of Philadelphia, he lived here for two years. Howard S. Hollinger, 80. of Avalon, July 31. Born in Pennsylvania, he lived in Philadelphia until moving here 19 years ago. He was a retired salesman for Bud's Paper Products here. Lillian MacKain Kosdin, 43, of Orlando. Fla., July 22. Formerly of Ocean City, she was a member of the class of 1958 of Ocean City High School.

Funeral Mass Held Fkfr Father Costello

CAMDEw — The funeral mass for Fr. Louis A. Costello, who had been pastor at St. Joseph's, Sea Isle City, and Maris Stella, Avalon, was held 10:30 a.m. today at St. Patrick's Church, Woodbury. Fr. Costello, 70, who retired from active ministry with residence at St. Augustine's, Ocean City, in January 1983, died Aug. 2 at Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury, after a brief hospitalization. Bishop George H. Guilfoyle was principal celebrant of today's Funeral MaSs for Fr. Costello yesterday the Mass of Jesus Christ the High Priest was celebrated at St. Patrick's Church at 8 p.m. Fr. Costello was to be

buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Swedesboro after the Funeral Mass. A native of Swedesboro, Fr. Costello was ordained to the priesthood in Camden June 29. 1946. after completing theological studies at Mt. St. Mary's Seminary, Emmitsbury, MD. He is a graduate^of Georgetown University, Washington DC. Fr. Costello served as associate pastor at a number of South Jersey parishes and pastor at three before becoming pastor at St. Joseph's Sea Isle City, Oct. 5, 1968. In June 1976 Fr. Costello was named associate pastor at Maris Stella, Avalon. From February 1978 until January 1983, Fr. Costello was a resident at Vianney Villa, Cherry Hill.

Emma M. Kohl, of Ocean City. Aug. 3. Born in Germany, she was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist of Ocean City and served as its librarian for the past 15 years. John C. Parsons, Jr., 91 of Cape May, Aug. l. Born in Jersey City, he lived in A Brooklyn, N.Y., before * retiring to this area 25 years ago. Elizabeth A. Redding, 80, of Ocean City, Aug. 1. A retired elementary school teacher, she had taught in West Cape May, Seaville and Pleasantville. Reba S. Rice, 75, of North Wildwood, July 29. She was a resident here for 35 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood, where she served a deaconess and church school teacher. Vernon Segers, 23, of Wildwood, July 28. He was an employee of the Wildwood Linen Supply Co. Robert W. Snyder, 64 of Villas, Aug. 4. He was a retired ironworker employed through Local Union 399 for more than 45 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Erma , the Charles "Buddy" ' Lewis VFW Post 5343 here and the Villas Fishing Club. James J. Soper Sr., 61, of North Cape play, Aug. 2. He was a retired truck driver and was employed by Signal Delivery Service of Philadelphia' for more than 20 years. Alex Sorensen, 79, of Cape May, July 28. Born in Denmark, he lived here for eight years. He was a retired area sea captain who worked with several oil companies. Leonard U. Stackhouse, 71, of Wildwood, July 31. A resident here for more than 50 years, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3509 and American Legion Post 184. Herman J. Steinhart, 76, of Rio Grande, July 29. Born in Harrison, he lived in Kearny before moving here 13 years ago. He was a retired production manager for the Wor thington Pump Co.
