i Art Workshop Set On Coastal Birds

STONE HARBOR - The world of coastal birds will be explored through an art workshop for children on two consecutive Saturdays. August J 8 and 25. The art and science course will be produced and taught by

Folly Perkins, a resear / cher and designer at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Piuladelphia The 'wo-day class at the Wetlands Institute is limDed to stodents in grades 3 to 6. / Mounted speciments. ^ field trips, color slides and live birds will be used to help children learn about Cape May County coastal birds. Fee for the workshop is $15 per child. "The youngsters focus on shape, color and size, and use the drawing as a learning tool." explains Perkins. "We will be listening to bird calls, too."
