I Cops Haver Busy July J In Middle i COURT HOUSE - July J was a busy month for the ^ Middle Township Police ^ Department, with more h than 1,000 incidents handl- ^ ed by police, according to ^ the report of Chief Edward S Hansen. y Criminal investigations and complaints included 15 N burglaries (and 80 false ^ alarms); 50 thefts, includ- ^ ing shoplifting; 15 '.aud cases, including bad S checks, and 20 of criminal ^ mischief. ^ THE POLICE handled 84 ^ motor vehicle accidents Si and 114 traffic-related incidents, as well as six cases c of driving while impaired. ^ The department issued 275 N summonses. ^ There were 50 animal . complaints, 14 fires, and ^ 114 other non-criminal S complaints handled. ^ Miscellaneous disorderly acts and complaints totaled ^ 203. k Arrests totaled 62, of which 54 were of adults and S eight of juveniles. ^
