Three Join Staff Of Reagan Studios
COLD SPRING - The Joanne Reagan Dance Studios announces several new members have joined its staff. Mrs. Marti Weakly of Ocean City, the former Marti Fairlamb of Wildwood Crest, will be teaching jazz dance and musical comedy production Mrs Weakly studied with Mrs. Jerry Barber and Ms Reagan in her childhood She has con tinue<rher training with various New York and Philadelphia teachers She holds an Associate's Degree in dance from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts Mrs Weakly is a member of the Diane Hull Dance Co. During her tour with the Hull Company, Mrs. Weakly appeared with Lionel Hampton at the Reagan Election Day '80, in Washington. | D.C.. Radio City Music
Hall, the Philadelphia Borse Building and various Pocono and Catskill resorts. She has also performed with the Hull Company at the Keswick Theatre in Jenkintown, Pa Mrs Weakly recently taught for the Wildwood Ni^ht School ALSO JOINING the staff will be Ms Jacqui Romaine Ms Romaine is a former student of the Reagan Studio and a former Joanne Reagan Dancer She has played leading song and dance roles in Wildwood High School's productions of "Grease". "West Side iStory" and Funny Girl" Ms Romaine recently appeared in the movie "Birdy" with Matthew Modine and Nicholas Cage. Ms. Evans has appeared on and off i Broadway. i RETURNING TO th» staff will be Dawn Dickinson, who will teach children's acrobatics. Dickinson has been
teaching in this field for four years. Also returning will be Pam Walder. She will be teaching advanced ballet Ms. Walder was a member of the Pittsburgh Ballet and was the ballet mistress for the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and the Wilkes Barre Civic Ballet. Ms. Reagan continues £s director of all performing companies and will teach in all areas. Ms Reagan is a member of the Dance Masters of America Sha has studied with many well known teachers in all areas of dance
SSI Checks To Be Early
r WILDWOOD - Monthly Supplemental Security Income (SSI) checks which are normally delivered on the first day of the month, will be delivered Friday. Aug. 31, instead, according to Del Brooks, manager of the Wildwood Social Security Office. "Benefit checks are mailed early when the usual delivery date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday," Brooks said. "In these instances, the checks are dated ana delivered on the first day before the first of the month that is not a weekend or holiday" wwnena or nonaay
tBrooks stated that this procedure helps reduce the problems that people have when they receive their checks and their banks are closed. These situations occur several times during the year, and Brooks added that SSA would provide similar information about early check deliveries as they occur ft
