Surplus Shown At ACC v MAYS LANDING - For the "first time in eight years, Atlantic CommunityCollege (ACC) showed a surplus at the .end of its fiscal year, the, board of trustees announced at its regular meeting Aug. 28. The college climbed out of a-4350,000 debt last year to a$250,000 surplus as of the end of June. "It's probably the most successful financial year of the college." said Frank J. Siracusa, board chairman. "Hie increase is attributed, in part, to the success of the college's Casino Career In- . stitute. At the same time, college administrators and staff are wjorking on a longrange planning of academic programs, according to ACC President Ronald Bush. The contract calls for study of the school's facilities, land use. - roads and environment. "Both studies are important to making the best use of the remaining space on campus," Bush said. The board accepted a bid from the Cape May CountyVocational School in the amount of $7,018 for surplus Lanier word processing equipment. SJI To Pay Dividend f FOLSOM, - The board of directors of South Jersey Indiistries, Inc. (South Jersey Industries) has declared a regular quarterly dividend of 61 cents per share on the 3,490,573 shares outstanding of common stock of the company for the third quarter of 1984, payable Sept. 28, to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 10. The number of shares outstanding represents an increase over the previous quarter due mainly to the completion of an equityissue involving the sale of 528,600 shares of the company's common stock.
