CPO Auxiliary Given Award The Cape May Unit of the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association Auxiliary was the recipient of First Runner Up in the Outstanding Unit Competition for the 1983-34 year. The award was received in Santa Rosa. Cafif.,. by Unit President and Primary Delegate Marlene Cowden at the 6th Annual National Convention. The award is given for outstanding community work and support of the Chief PettyOfficers Association. Officers for the year inwhich the award warearned were: Rita Bunting. | president; Kris Schierer, vice president : Marlene Cowden. secretary ; Nadine Sweeney, treasurer and Bernice Coyne parliamentarian. Karen Ureo Is Engaged Mrs. Phyllis A. Genovese and Anthony P Oreo of Lower Township announce •the engagement of their daughter Karen Lee Oreo to Michael E. Kennan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Keenan of Lower Township. Miss Oreo is a graduate of Lower Cape MayRegional High School and now attends Cumberland County Community College. Keenan. also a graduate of Lower Cape May Regional, is waiting to take his test for av NewJersey electrical contractor's licence.
