Lighthouse , Zoo Awaip Visitors] STONE HARBOR - The historic Hereford Inlet Lighthouse in North Wildwood, Cape May's Cold Spring Village, Cape May Point State Park, Wheaton Village in Millvflle, and Bridgeton's Cohansick £oo are each part of thk New Jersey Wings n Water Festival this weekend. At Cold Spring Village on Seashore Road, fish smoking, net mending and oyster shell grinding will be ^demonstrated. The village is a collection of 18th and 19th Century farm buildings which house more than a dozen crafts people who perform daily. THE HISTORIC Hereford Inlet Lighthouse, inaugurated in 1874, continues to be restored and two of the original rooms are open as a daily visitors center in North Wildwood. A display of the lighthouse history is available. Wheaton Village in Millville houses a museum of American glass and will provide an oystering exhibit as well as crafts demonstrations of pottery, decoy carving, tinsmithing, ceramics and lamp glass working. A few miles away <at Bridgeton. the Cohansick Zoo on the river at Bridgeton features NewJersey as well as world wildlife, and will be the only location to observe regional mammals during J the festival. Performance By Falcons STONE HARBOR - One of the world's foremost experts on peregrines, Dr.Heins Meng, will, produce and star in his nationally popular show, "Falcons Return, Restoring an Endangered Species", for the New Jersey Wings 'n v Water Festival, Saturday. Dr. Meng will present several live, trained hawks -which will perform in a show at the Avalon Community Hall beginning at 8 p.m. He will give an account vo f bree.d4-nig— peregrine falcomfand showfilm of his birds in captivity as well as free. Meng has appeared on "Good Morning America," "The Mike Douglas Show," "Late Night with David Letterman,'-' " P M Magazine, "M and "Wish Upon a Star" on the national Disney television channel.
