Tot Shop Program Is Signing Up
AVALON - Registration is now open for Avalon's Tot Shop. This is a preschool program for ages 2 V5 who are potty trained. The program is held 9 a.m. to noon Monday through /
Friday. Youngsters may sign-up for two, three or five-day programs. The children are under the leadership of a certified teacher and members of the Avalon Recreation
Staff for a program of games exercise, handcrafts and Held trips. Class will begin at 9 a.m. Oct. 1 with registrations being taken at Avalon Community hall daily 9 a.m. -3 p.m. This program has received many favorable comments from parents at council meetings in past years. Pension Vote Set AVALON — The borough council will bold a special meeting and public hearing 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Borough Hall concerning the referendum for the Nov. 6 election pertaining to the transfer of borough police employes from the Public Employees' Retirement System to the Police and Firemen's Retirement System.
