3 CROP Walks At Cape

In cooperation with Church World Service/CROP, three CROP walks will be held in Cape May County for the inter- , .national relief, development and refugee resettlement agency. The walks have been - scheduled in Cape May and

Wildwood Oct. 21, and in Seaville Nov. 1. They are slated to be near World Food Day, Oct. 16. Church World Services, founded in 1946, represents the shared ministry of 30 Protestant and Orthodox denominations. The organization is involved in projects in 70 countries and

the United States to alleviate the effects of drought and famine. THERE WILL be 86 CWS/CROP events in NewJersey this fall, with 12,000 people involved and close to half a million dollars raised, according to Rev. Terry Grove, regional director.

Convocation Of Priests Oct. 2, 3 OCEAN CITV - A Presbyterial Convocation of 150 to 200 priests of the Diocese of Camden will be held at the Flanders Hotel here Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 2 and 3. The gathering was called, for the fifth consecutive year, by Bishop George H. Guilfoyle. The bishop will be the principal celebrant of a concelebrated Mass at St. Augustine's Church, Ocean Avenue, Oct. 3, to close the sessions. The purpose of the convocation is to provide growth in education, prayer and fraternity. Invited guest speaker is Father. Benedict Groeschel, O.F.M. Cap.
