Bertha Wright, nutrition manager, can be reached at 398-2552 for meal reservations. Health Promotion is the theme for this year. The County Office on Aging has been designated as the lead agency to plan, implement and coordinate the health promotion activities, for older persons. THE STAINTON Senior Center focus on healthful activities includes Free Blood Pressure testing 1-2:45 and exercise with music to maintain flexibility 1:30-2:30 each Tuesday afternoon. On Thursday 1:30-3:30 the Square Dance Gass will help to keep the mind and body agile. Each Friday 1-2 is Line Dance will help to keep the mind and body agile. Each Friday 1-2
is Line Dance Class time. This is dancing without a partner for fun and exercise. SAGES classes will begin Monday, Oct. 1 and Wednesday Oct. 3. Call cr visit the Center at 3304 Bay Ave. (399-0055). A printed schedule of daily activities is available. Special programs include today at 10 a.m. when the Humane Society will have little bundles of joy at the center to cuddle and pet. FOR THE armchair traveler a visit to the Alpine countries of Germany, Switzerland, and Austria recently taken by Katherine Schimmel, Nan and Orm Hampton will be shown Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. "You and Your Auto Insurance" will be discussed Oct. 24. as one of many informational topics conducted by the center. Daily craft classes and card games round out activities afforded.
