Census Survey At Cape Its "regular survey on employment and unemployment will be conducted in this area during this week, according to the Philadelphia Regional Office of the U.S. Bureau of the Census. According to James F. Holmes, director of the regional office. 40 to. 50 households in the Cape May County area will be visited in the door-to-door survey, which is entitled, a bit inaccurately, as a "current population survey". ADDITIONAL survey questions will provide information on incidence of and immunization against certain, primarily childhood diseases. The survey is conducted for the U.S. Department of 1 Labor in a scientifically designed sample of approximately 71,000 households throughout the United States. La manna said the samples, taken Sept. 11, showed the result of heavy rains on the preceding day. The rain sends polluted water that clogged storm sewer catch basins into the ocean and bay via storm sewer lines, according to the Health Department. Ocean City's back bay sampling had to be discarded because it was held longer than proper. La manna added. The complete chart appears on page 57. Lamanna said the department will continue to test the ocean waters through Oct. 1 , and about 22 back bay sites in "problem areas" in Sea Isle City. Avalon and Wildwood Crest.
