Masters' Run Set

OCEAN CITY - A threemile Masters Run will kick off Ocean City's second annual Indian Summer Weekend, Oct. 13-14. The run will start 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Music Pier, Broadwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. It will continue to the south end of the boardwalk, then return to the Pier. Registration is open to men and women aged 40 and over. The fee, prior to Oct. 10, is $3. On the day of the run, registration wifj be $5 at the Music Pier. All entrants will receive an Ocean City Masters Run "T" shirt. THE RUN will be directed by fhe Ocean City Recreation Department and is sponsored by the Ocean City Retail Mer-

chants Association as part of the city's Indian Summer Weekend. Other features of the weekend will be a block ' party and crafts show in - Ocean City's downtown business area, a seafood festival and sale on the boardwalk and a sand sculpting contest on the beach. The following week, on Saturday, Oct. 20, Ocean City will sponsor the Fenton Carey Half-Marathon run for men and women of all ages.

Tournament To Benefit Cancer Unit

RIO GRANDE - The First Annual Memorial Golf Tournament in memory of Marian and Ed , Wisham will be held Satu-' 1 day, Oct. 27. at the Create f Bay Country Club, Somers Point, for the benefit of the American Cancer Society. Cape May County Unit. Rain date is Sunday, Oct. 28 \ The conation includes golf, prizes, open bar and full course filet mignon dinner. Horse Show COURT HOUSE - Local equestrians are getting ready to compete in the 60 different classes of the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital Horse Show Saturday and Sunday. v The event will be held at the 4H Fair Grounds on Dennisville Road and will also feature bake and crafts sales. Admission includes a program book. Children under 12 attend free. All proceeds benefit the hospital's building fund.
