VILLAS - Ada Temple, celebrated ber 91st birthday Saturday with a dinner at the home of her
daughter, Mae Ferguson. Also wishing her the best were her older children: Tina Solino and Ruth Prbtrowiqz of Villas, Ira Temj pie and tannie Temple of Florida, Lawrence Temple of Charlotte, N.C. and Margaret Temple of Philadelphia. Mrs. Temple has 18 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She received a money tree from family and friends.

ABWA Has Opener
OCEAN CITY — The Ocean charter chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) held its fall enrollment meeting ITiursday, Sept. 13, at the Gardens Plaza Condominium, here. A program on functions and advantages of being a member of the ABWA was presented by Dot Windish, followed by a vocational talk by Trish Dice. Madeline Macrotte, the first scholarship recipient of the chapter, was presented a $500 certificate by Misa^Dice, education chairwoman, during the August monthly dinner | meeting at Mac's Restaurant, in Somers I Point. dent Rosemarie Barger in the absence of the president, Mae Mackunis. Following the committee chairperson reports new member Betty Schmidt, a transferee from the Atlantic charter chapter, was welcomed. Ways and means chairwoman Windish reported the recent flea market was successful and a bike-athon was planned for Sept. 23 to benefit the scholarship fund. A program on astrology was presented by Darla Johnson, ABWA member, who profiled three of the members and charted their planets.
