Specialist Added To Hospital Staff

COURT HOUSE - Richard A. Michner, M.D., a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, has been welcomed to the staff of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Dr. Michner, who recently relocated his practice from Philadelphia to Cape May County, has a varied background of professional experience. Dr. Michner received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, ana received his M.D. from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico.

DR. MICHNER served his internship at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, N.J. His residency in obstetrics and gynecology was served at Roosevelt Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University, in New York City. At Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Penn., he taught obstetrics and gynecology and also ran a clinic service. Dr. Michner is a member of the American Medical Association, American Fertility Society, Philadelphia Obstetrical Society, American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists and the International Corresppndence Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is currently serving as physician for the New Jersey Health Department Family Planning Clinic at Crest Haven.
